The main content of American culture is to emphasize individual value, the pursuit of democracy and freedom, advocating pioneering and competitive, rationality and practical, its core is the personal centralism: personal supremacy, desires is supreme, the pursuit of personal interests and personal enjoyment, stress the individual struggle, personal self design, the pursuit of individual value finally realize. This kind of self-shaping and individualistic individualism has its positive side as well as its negative side. It brings into full play the initiative of individuals and the wisdom and potential of many people, thus promoting the revitalization and development of the whole nation and country. However, if everyone is self-centered, interpersonal relationships will be difficult to harmonize and the whole society will lack cohesion.
German culture is rigorous and cautious. A little bit conventional, less innovative.
