Can you give some examples about the similarities and differences between German Culture and American Culture?

    Similarities: Both of them regard highly on individualism. People of the both cultures all incline to follow their own wills.

    Differences: Germans attach great importance to orders especially in public environments. Americans prefer to enjoy freedom and hate the feeling of being trapped.

    Both place a large emphasis on personal pride.  Individualism and human rights are highly valued in these two countries. 

    Differences:

    Americans can talk to strangers. America is a diversified country, which higher education is also of diversified characteristics. 

    Germany seems to have a rule for everything and German people are very careful to respect each other.
