What do you think of Diogenes' philosophy? Should we take Diogenes' philosophy more seriously or must we dismiss it as too negative and unpractical?

Contemporary cynicism is indeed a corrosive thing, but it is far less ruinously critical than is feared. The modern cynics knew what they were doing, but they did it anyway, expressing a distrust of modernity based on moral disillusionment and political discontent. Modern cynicism, however, is "manageable and mobilizable," and it certainly takes good people to assume that responsibility.

His philosophy is an innovation, and one should pursue one's enthusiasm without being influenced by the outside world. We should dialectically treat cynicism, pursue nature and harmony, and live an active life and pursue our own desires.

I think we should take Diogenes' philosophy more seriously. Some of Diogenes' philosophy are worth learning. He believed that people should be free, not be bound by money and power. I agree with it. However, I do not agree that Diogenes didn't need wealth and power. Because we all know that today's society is materialized and almost everything is exchanged for material goods. Without money, we cannot live a good life in this society. And we can't pursue the freedom we really want. Therefore, we should look upon Diogenes' philosophy from a dialectical perspective.

I think that Diogenes' philosophy is unique in this rapidly developing era. We should learn what is worth learning from his philosophy. While pursuing interests and careers, we should not forget our original intention and learn the free and independent side of his philosophy.

I think Diogenes' philosophy is a rather extreme philosophy. The true purpose of ancient cynicism was to expose the pretenses of civilization, to remove the artificial distortions, to expose the true virtue of man, and to preserve the purity of nature. This philosophy was born with the spirit of resistance. Therefore, when the later generations practice cynicism, they should be clear about what they want to fight against and what they want to achieve through fighting, rather than blindly formalistic cynicism.

Diogenes's philosophy is worth pondering. In today's inner era, everyone buries his head for the cause and bends for five meters. The pressure of life makes it difficult for them to breathe. The freedom and nature that Diogenes advocates, in today's view, are not in line with the mainstream values of The Times. If everyone is like him, how will the society develop, and how will the country be rich and strong? The attitude towards philosophy should be placed in a specific background of The Times, and it should not be killed with a stick because it is not suitable for oneself and the needs of The Times.

I think Diogenes' philosophy is worth to be deeply thought. It is very difficult for us to live like Diogenes in this age of profit, and money blinds almost everyone. Just because of this, we should advocate Diogenes philosophy and pursue a free lifestyle, so as to find the true meaning of life and relax ourselves. Of course, we don't all have to live like a bagger like Diogenes. We can live a decent life without being too materialistic.

I think Diogenes' philosophy is reasonable, his thoughts make us reflect on ourselves.

In today's rapidly developing society, material desires are gradually increasing, and people tend to forget what they really want and gradually forget their original intention. We can already see from the news that there are many people who "follow the trend" to pursue some unrealistic things. For this phenomenon, we should reflect on whether these things or ideas are really needed, or to catch up with the "trend".

I think we can take Diogenes' philosophy in a way. For ordinary people at that time, they viewed "cynicism" as a begger's life, but in the contemporary society, people are willing to pursue spritual wealth, not marial wealth. With the development of the times, most of us still worship money and power, so we have to find ourselves and live a free life.Today some   downgraded consumption, so in this way, I support it . However, we aren't the just animals, we are the higher ones. We should have the dignity. We must keep us  natural and graceful. It is important that it pleases not only yourself, but also others. Therefore, I think it is practical.

Diogenes' ideas are still relevant today, and we should take the best of them and eliminate the dross. The part of his philosophy about returning to the basics, being simple in material life and enriching in spiritual life, and caring for the future and destiny of society is worth learning. But some of his radical views and behaviors, such as abandoning everything outside of one's body, truly living like a dog, sleeping on the street, and so on, are not necessary in contemporary times.

In our lives today, we can carry on his ideas, get rid of the trap of hypocrisy, stick to our way of life, and make ourselves who we want to be, without having to conform to the expectations of others.

We should treat Diogenes' theory of cynicism dialectically. Retain the content of the theory that is beneficial to our own and social development, and discard the content that is not in line with the development of The Times and is not conducive to the development of The Times. Cynicism advocates that we pursue a simple and free life, not the pursuit of material life, which is conducive to our better life, but in today's society, the pursuit of a simple and free life is not conducive to the development of society. So we should treat Diogenes' theory critically.

Diogenes' cynicism advocated the use of extreme stimulus to temper human character in favor of nature. Diogenes' cynicism advocated the elimination of customs, the obedience to one's own heart, and the importance of cultivating the spiritual world. Diogenes' cynicism is one of the crystallizations of the intellectual and social development of mankind at that time. We should look at these ideas objectively and correctly study the beneficial results from them.

Diogenes was an ancient Greek philosopher known for his unconventional and often provocative teachings. His philosophy, known as Cynicism, emphasized living a simple and self-sufficient life, free from societal conventions and material possessions.

Diogenes believed that true happiness and virtue could be achieved by embracing a natural and minimalist lifestyle. He rejected social norms, wealth, and power, advocating for a return to a more primitive and authentic way of living. Diogenes famously lived in a barrel and openly criticized the values and behaviors of his contemporaries.

While Diogenes' philosophy may seem extreme and impractical to some, it does offer valuable insights and challenges conventional thinking. His emphasis on self-sufficiency and detachment from material possessions can be seen as a critique of the excessive consumerism and materialism prevalent in society. Diogenes' rejection of social conventions and his commitment to living in accordance with nature can also be seen as a call for authenticity and individual freedom.

I think his philosophy should be viewed dialectically. In his philosophy, he uses the method of returning to nature to persuade people, but in reality, there is nothing wrong with pursuing one's own happiness. Their pursuit of materialism does not mean that their souls are empty. Everything they do, in my opinion, cannot be excessive to a certain extent. If a person excessively desires to satisfy their own desires, they may have to pay some price. We need to take his philosophy seriously, find a more suitable method, and find a balance between the future of humanity and our own material needs.

I think we should take the essence of Diogenes' philosophy and reject the dross. On the one hand, Diogenes's lifestyle is too extreme, he has no desire for material life, and can even urinate and defecate like an animal. This behavior is extreme, and we do not have to do this in order to provide value to society. On the other hand, Diogenes' thinking about the whole world and his exploration of reality are worth learning. To sum up, we should treat Diogenes' philosophical thought dialectically in combination with the development of The Times and our own development
