In my perspective, the CET4 listening tasks made me feel quite tense, because there are a few subjects that I didn'tmake sense. That means I need to pay more attention to my usual practice.
Please voice your opinion about the CET4 listening tasks and evaluate your performance this time on December 12th..
Recently we have only passed CET4. There's something wrong with listening. My radio is broken. I can only listen through the public radio, I can only vaguely hear some public sound. The sound of public broadcasting is too light, and then the sound of flipping papers around the exam is too loud. I'm a little far away from the radio. I listen too clearly. I'm not satisfied with my performance. Maybe I'm not focused enough. I can't even capture effective information and ignore the interference around me. I can't make a good choice when I listen only once. Therefore I need to spend more time to practice my English skills.
Although I didn't sign up for CET-4 this semester,I think it was a difficult problem for me,for example, the listening and translation when I did the old terms in previous years. There are also many new words in reading,so I need to strengthen the practice of my listening and memorize new words.
I thought CET4 is a little easy than what I had praticed. The reading part is not hard to take these articles' ideas. However, the listening part may be my ”Achilles‘Heel“,I can not hold all its meaning under the fast speaking speed, losing a lot of important information. In the end I can only guess the answer facing the listenning test paper with my vancy head.
The listening mode of CET-4 is the same as that of Shanghai senior high school,I have a certain degree of familiarity. And the gap between problems is longer, there is a lot of thinking time. But the number of articles is more, it sounds a little tired, and the overall difficulty coefficient is acceptable.
Beacause of the lack of practice,I'm very nervous about it.As for me,I haven't done listening for 3 years. So I'm afraid that I can't understand the content of the listening test. When listening begins,I concentate on it. But I think it too difficult for me.CET4 is a test for us.I believe I can pass it.
Although before CET-4,I had listening training and mastered some listening skills, but I still found mand problems in the actual test.Firstly, the earphone on-site radio produced a lot of electrical noise.Secondly, the listening itself was difficult at beginning and then turn to easy, which made me feel stressed and impatient at first. What's more,I felt very nervous when I was listening adn answering questions while painting the answers cards.Honestly speaking,it's a little difficult but I could get a normal grades for this CET-4 listening.
As far as I'm concerned, there's a lot of regret about this exam. The main reason for this regret is that I missed ten listening questions due to the radio problem during the examination. And this will affect my grades to a great extent. Before the next exam, I have to prepare well in advance. At the same time, I think I should better control my writing time.
The listening part of CET-4 is very difficult for me. The speaker's speaking speed is fast, so I can't understand the content of the speech correctly. The written part is moderately difficult, and the translation part takes a long time to conceive advanced sentence patterns and vocabulary. Generally speaking, CET-4 is relatively simple for me.
After the CET-4 ,I breathed a sigh of relief but can’t help beginning to reflect on the exam.On the one hand,I found myself hard to express the meaning freely in writing English. On the other hand, listening seemed to be a difficult task for me because catching the key point through sentences needs enough patience and screening.
However,I feel encouraged and view it as a welcome challenge to improve my English learning from now on.
In fact, in the listening section of CET-4, I felt like I was dreaming. The form of cet-4 listening is very different from that of senior high school, especially the time to look at the options is not much, the pace of doing the questions is much faster. And I think this is actually caused by the lack of practice.
From my point of view,it's qute difficult for me to finish the listening part since its fast speed. There isn't too much time for me to think the answers over and select the proper answer. Besides, the translation parts involves a certain vocabulary which is also a challenge for me.
The most profound memory is listening. To be frank, listening as if no listening, according to my own understanding and imagination to solve the problem. It's relatively easy to quick-reading and careful-reading. There are also few uncertain words in translation as well as composition.
