I feel that the listening part is a little fast, which is much worse than the listening speed in high school. Although I have done several real exam papers, I still find it difficult to adapt to the real exam.
The biggest problem I faced in the CET-4 test was the lack of vocabulary. The translation part did not know the translation of key words, and the composition was also short of monotonous repetition of words. In the listening section, I am not familiar with the fast-paced listening content and I am not familiar with the different timing-Lin content.
clearly I know that the CET4 is not difficult, but the relaxed state after the college entrance examination is in contrast to the tense english learning in high school. the lack of english practice for a long time makes me very anxious about this exam.
I didn't do well in this CET-4 because I was not used to the mode of CET-4. At the beginning, I didn't adjust my headphones properly, so I missed eight listening questions. In my opinion, CET-4 is more a test of our flexible use of English than the college entrance examination.
As a matter of fact, a large part of my listening tasks depend on my imagination. When I can't hear an answer, I guess the context based on the option and then choose the possible answer.
The final examination is around the corner and the first semester is over. This term,my listening ability improve a little but it's not enough.I regretted that I didn't be a doer these days and my CET4 is so awful. It's high time to make a change!!
Obviously,I am over confident and laking in adequate practice. As a saying goes, practice makes perfect.Depending on the knowledge gotten in high school,I tought I could pass the cet4 easily. However ,I cannot overcome the trouble when I take the exam.
After that I think I will pay more attention on English learning.
Form my point of view,we'd better to listen more and do more practice. When you finish a listening practice you should find out the problems in your practice and listen again and again until you can understand it.
In fact,I always felt unconfident in my CET-4 before, so I was nervous and worried that day.
