UAE people usually shake hands when they meet guests in social occasions. When they meet with their relatives and friends, they are also used to kissing. UAE is an Islamic country, and they should respect the local dress etiquette in public. Generally speaking, women should try to avoid wearing back, belly, knee, tight and transparent clothes; men should not wear shorts or bare arms in public

When entering a meeting, general introductions will begin with a handshake.

You should greet each of your Emirati counterparts individually. In line with Muslim customs, avoid shaking hands with women unless they extend their hands first.

Initial business meetings are generally long in duration.

Business cards are common but not essential.

Business cards should be printed in both English and Arabic.
