Can you give some examples about the similarities and differences between German Culture and American Culture?

    Similarities:

    1. They're all consider individualism in a highly place. It doesn't means want to do things by oneself, it is on behalf of Independence. 

    2. Highly respect people's rights. Both the governments of two countries are highly democratize. 

     

    Differences:

    American people are open and free;Germans are rigorous.

    American culture is individual and democratic. German culture is cautious. For example, Germans and Americans have meetings together. Americans will say let's start, and we will start directly. And the Germans will be silent for a while, and then take out some documents, or PPT, to start the speech, and will be very serious.

    The main content of American culture is to emphasize individual value, the pursuit of democracy and freedom, advocating pioneering and competitive, rationality and practical, its core is the personal centralism: personal supremacy, desires is supreme, the pursuit of personal interests and personal enjoyment, stress the individual struggle, personal self design, the pursuit of individual value finally realize. German culture is rigorous and cautious. A little bit conventional, less innovative.

    High individualism.Germany and America both place high priority on looking after themselves and their immediate family.For them,in business,task management is more impotant than cooperating.

    2.Differences:
