In history, South Korea has learned a lot from China. Some of the pronunciation of Korean is similar to Chinese, and the food culture of South Korea has also learned from China. The national costumes of South Korea are similar to Chinese hanfu.
(1)Both China and Korea are heavily influenced by Confucianism.
(2)Both China and Korea attach great importance to the relationship between people and take the Confucian culture of "benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom and faithfulness" as the highest code of conduct.
(3)Both China and Korea attach great importance to filial piety and family members.
1. Clothing culture. Although there is a big difference between Chinese clothes and Hanbok. But on special festivals, the colors of Hanbok and Chinese clothes are related to festivals. For example, Red Hanbok for weddings, White Hanbok for funerals and so on.In China, people also wear red for weddings and white for funerals.
2.Food culture.Korean cuisine is largely based up rice,vegetables and meats.It is more similar to Chinese food than western food.
3.Religion culture.Korea is a country where most of the major religions of the world coexist.As one of the Korean religions, Buddhism came to Korean Peninsula through China in the 4th century. Therefore, Buddhism is a combination of Chinese traditional culture, traditional folk beliefs deeply affecting South Korea. For example, Confucianism in Buddhism is similar to Chinese religious culture.
In my opinion,they have similarities in dress code.
As we all known, in China people must dress formal clothes on formal occasions or when they in the company ,especially the businessmen.Although they don't wear suits, they should wear dark clothes to show the respection, and in Korea, this code is also popular.
Additionally, both Chinese and Koreans are influenced by Confucianism.
