Deeply rooted in the concept of family and state ,family occupies a dorminant position in the traditional ethical culture of China and South Korea.

The values f Chinese and Korean societies are relatively individualistic values within the framework of collectivism .

Such conservative values are mainly reflected in the fact that people in China and South Korean value more the collective interssant ,including national interests and family interest.

South Korea and China belong to Asia and share many similarities in cultural etiquette. For example, about confucianism,it includes Highlight social concerns;Obligation toward others;respect for family, seniors, husband and wife;strong hierarchy;value long standing traditions.

I think our Confucianism that respects the old and loves the young and respects the tradition also has a profound influence on the people of South Korea. Many of their etiquettes are now very similar to ancient Chinese etiquettes.

1  The cultural meaning of the festival is basically the same

2  The time of the festival is exactly the same

3  South Koreans also put up spring couplets, but usually on the day of the start of spring, they write black characters on white paper, much like the Chinese wreath of Elegiac couplets

    They have similar pronunciation

Koreans also eat rice as a staple food
