As a young man, Hercules met two goddesses on a road crossing. The goddess of Pleasure promised him luxury and comfort beyond his imagination, and gave him all the pleasures of the flesh. While the goddess of virtue tells Hercules that the road of life on her side is long and difficult, and requires bearing unimaginable pains and suffering, but he can use his own efforts to benefit human beings, thus achieving the real happiness. Hercules chooses the latter, completes 12 missions, and becomes a god in the end.
Hercules is an admirable man. If we could live in a comfortable environment, most of us would stay in this circle, hardly take the initiative to choose difficult things. Hercules chose to face the challenge. A hero is a hero, because he can do what ordinary people cannot do.
Hercules as a man who are gifted with extraordinary power are destiny to create value experiences. However, what defined him as a hero is not the power he got, but the way how he used his talent. Facing with the significant choice, whether would have gathered plenty of money and left after having given assistance to conquer country Thrace for a despot, or strived for the peace of the people in Thrace, Hercules determinedly chose to do the right thing under the consideration of justice and mercy from his deep heart. He helped the people get away from the disaster with the abundance of the wealthandrank.
Hercules was so brave and powerful that he completed 12 tasks known as "impossible". What’s more, he was honorable for his great choice!
Hercules has always been in the process of self-salvation. At the first time, because he killed his family by mistake, he chose to complete 12 heroic performances, rather than choose the luxury and comport that were easy to get. I can know that he was a hero who sincerely repents and dared to challenge. However, he abandoned the gods and fought only for rewards. He lost himself again. After one experience, he finally realized that he was sinful, so he was on the road of redemption again. I think he had a conscience although he lost himself. No matter how difficult it is, he bravely challenged his limits, which is worthy of our admiration.
Hercules faces two different ways, one is comfortable life, however, another is hardship but can bring the safe and happiness to human kind. Hercules finally chooses the hard one which correspond with his belife, to save himself for killing his families.
When facing the difficulties, he try his best to overcome it and finally he is accepted by other Gods and he is remember by people. This spirit is worthy for us learn. Just think when we face the difficulty what we did? Give up? Escape? Although there are minor difficulties. Compared to Hercules, we should introspect ourselves and learn from him.
Ηρακλής , known as the greatest hero in ancient Greek mythology, is the offspring of the main god Zeus who made peace with alkmene and was hated by Hera. His birth was the mistake of Zeus, but he had power and wisdom. He was firmly in the hands of the gods, but fearlessly fought against fate. He is a mercenary who is "open to money" but has integrity and kindness in mind. He always stands at the crossroads of life, but always finds his way.
The gods gave him strength and torment, but he accepted the torment, so he really accepted his "strength". He brings strength to those who need it, and he uses it for atonement. He has completed 12 arduous tasks and is known as "hero".
His firmness, fearlessness, goodness and wisdom made him overcome the real "secular" things and embark on the road of becoming a God.
As a mercenary, there was just money in Hercules’ eyes. However, he had found that the old king of Thrace he fought for is the evil side. Facing the choice of organizing rebels to support justice and enjoy glory, he was so brave and upright that choose fight for people.
What Hercules chose his life path is fight for justice, faith and goodness, but what Achilles chose is fight for showing power and fame. As an individualist, Achilles was brutal and bloody. After killing Hector, he arrogantly dragged Hector's body to show off in the city.
In my opinion, I appreciate Hercules’ life path. As Peter’s uncle said in the Spider Man, with great power comes great responsibility. When Hercules realized his power can help people overthrow the evil king, he chose to organize the rebels and stand with people. It is also said in the ancient Chinese saying that if you are poor, you will be good at yourself, and if you reach the goal, you will benefit the world at the same time. If I had the power, I would choose to lead people have a better life as Hercules.
What the Hercules faces is just something we face nowadays . Some people choose to live without pressure and live in the circle which we call comfortable circle . However, some people would like to jump out of that circle and to pursue what is difficult to them now. For these people, they would obtain the skills ,knowledge and experience others staying in the comfortable circle can’t gain. In my opinion, I would like to choose the latter as well. Although I would not like Hercules overcoming all difficulties ,I still can gain something helpful for my life, because I do believe that there is no road in the world for nothing once you put your effort in it.
The choice Hercules facing was whether to live a comfortable life with unexpected luxury and money or a difficult life with uncountable challenges and hardships. Out of responsibility and desire to make amends even though his crime had not been totally his fault, he chose the latter one. He endured many trials, completed many daunting tasks and his heroic deeds and saving lives made him the greatest hero.
I really appreciate Hercules’s choice. Today many of us are facing a dilemma. One side is the conflicts of individual, the other is the responsibility to the society and others. Novel coronavirus disease has been attacking us for a long time, many people who fight bravely against the disease on the front line are someone like Hercules. They are isolated with their family and loved, working day and night, no matter how dangerous it is. They are all fighters and heroes.
Knowing clearly that choosing to help others may bring damages to his own benefits, Hercules still did it and never looked back for the just. Obviously, there was another way to go, which was more comfortable, he still chose the tough way. Why? Did he is silly? No. he is just contributive. Today, there are also many people devote themselves into creating more benefits to the public with sacrificing themselves. They are the same kind as Hercules. They are the so-called heroes. What we should do is to admire them and keep up with them.
Hercules, the son of Zeus and Alcmene, has tremendous power. When he faced the Pleasure and the Virtue, he choose virtue and was going to faced a difficult and miserable life. I think Hercules has a great sense of responsibility. He realizes his power can fight off the evil and change the world, he sees it as his duty, so began an extraordinary life. In my opinion, Hercules is the symbol of the ancient Greek ideal, which is also inspire people nowadays. When we face a dilemma, think about Hercules, we can gain power and go through the trouble, that is very significant.
The story of Hercules and the two goddesses perfectly shows Hercules' attitude and decision towards two distinct lives. Goddess Arete represents a meaingful life with struggles and virtues, while goddess Cacia stands for pleasure and a comfortable life. Hercules finally chose to lead a suffering life and spent half of his time finishing "the twelve Labors of Heracles", or "the twelve impossible missions".
The contradiction Hercules had to faced is very inspiring. Every person has to face the choice of struggling or lying around, and human's values will differ in this process of choosing. It seems that being a god or just being great is very far away from us, but actually it is not. Our decisions towards life determine who we are. When we learn from Hercules, try hard to fight for what we want, constraining our selfish desires and say no to wasting and laziness, we become our own heros. What's more, choosing a paniful but struggling life will give us the chance to taste real joy, while a happy but lazy life will only look pale and empty.
There are two completely different roads for Hercules to choose, one is live in a pleasure and rich life without a hard struggle, the other one is a definitely hard life. Hercules chose the second one, which takes unimaginable toil and suffering, but he finally completed 12 heroic achievements with his own efforts and benefit for the performance of the truth happiness. He was a role model of hero and was remembered by human beings after his death, which is a great honor to live in the world. I’m absolutely appreciate the choice of Hercules, because it need a great courage to make that decision. We can see that Hercules have the purpose of meaningful life, he never afraid of all kinds of monsters, no matter the opponent is a lion with no weapons or a Tauren with infinite force in the maze. He has never given up and never backed down. A man have purpose of life can have power and motivation to fight for everything. His spirit of not afraid of difficulties and brave to pursuit is worth learning.
First of all I want to say that I really appreciate Heracles for his strong will, great endurance and constancy of purpose. Faced with 12 impossible tasks, he didn't give up just to free himself from the pain of criminals and wash his hands that were stained with the blood of his family. In real life, it is hard for ordinary people to admit their SINS, but Heracles not only admitted his mistakes, but also took the initiate to do good deeds and go through hardships to make up his crimes. This courage is worthy of our admiration. What's more, instead of being seduced by luxury, he chose to live a happy life through his own efforts, it's really hard. Nowadays many people prefer profiting by other people's toil, they don't want to work anymore but want to get everything they want. We must learn from Heracles and choose correct life road.
Hercules is a half god, the king of gods, Zeus and a human's son. He is gifted with an extrodinary power and looked after by his father. After his finishing performing the 12 labors, the stories of Hercules spread across the Greece. His extradianry power, exceptional bravery at war makes him as a hero like Achilles in Greek people of a wide spread of age. However, in this film, these not only bring Hercules with honor and glory, but trouble and some discrimination in his childhood. He worked as a mercenary and met his 6 friends with unique skill in battle. Although the work only requires him to devote for how much he is paid, he still contains the love and care in his heart. After the battle with Rhesus, he realized what "hero" means in people's heart. The responsibility and honor forces him to be a real hero. At this moment, he is more like a human than any other time. In addition, it is not required for a man gifted with extrodinary power but the responsibility, kind-hearted and human's nature to be a real hero. It is the hero that should be admired by people.
When faced with two choices, it is the luxury and comfort of life that can be obtained without paying any price, or it takes unimaginable pain and hardship to achieve true happiness through his own efforts and achievements for the benefit of mankind. He resolutely chose a path full of thorns and challenges.
Because of Hera's jealousy, he had to accomplish twelve impossible tasks before he could ascend the throne, but he did so bravely. He never gave up and retreated, even in the face of monsters. He is not only powerful, wise and brave, but also very careful and kind. He does his best to rid people of harm and help many countries to solve problems.
This choice also made him more mature and brave, making his life more meaningful. As the song goes, the sun always after the wind and rain, when through their own efforts to harvest things, it is more meaningful and valuable.
Heracles, the son of Zeus and Alcmene, he is one of the greatest hero in ancient Greek mythology.
In the Greek mythology,Hercules can go with two different ways, the first one is living a life born with money and happiness and the second one is living a challenge and dangerous life, but he can get real happiness with his own efforts and achievements for the benefit of mankind in this life.Hercules firmly chose the latter. Driven by the faith to save the human,he wanted to kill the monsters although it is fierce and he will be quite dangerous. So he is the Greek mythology character that i admire very much.
Faced with a choice between comfort and misery, Hercules chose the latter.
Hercules is undoubtedly a hero, but also a man of ideals and courage, with a natural sense of honor and pride, never yielding to any difficulties. He is not only powerful but also wise, kind and just. All his life, he kills monsters and evil people for mankind, helps friends, accepts all hardships and finally completes twelve impossible tasks and becomes a true God. I admire him very much for his choice and his life of constantly breaking the limit. It is only by choosing to face his destiny that he finally achieves himself.
Hercules chose the latter and accomplished 12 feats, which can be described as amazing. He could have chosen to live comfortably and happily, but not. On the contrary, he challenges difficulties and becomes more powerful through continuous experience.
I admire this hero very much.Because, from my point of view , we should fight hard , chase what we want , broaden our horizons, get in touch with different people and develop their own knowledge when we are young. Once people choose ease, they will become more decadent and become burden to society.
There is an old Chinese saying that a man must suffer his will, strain his bones and muscles, starve his skin, deplete his body, and do whatever he does. Therefore, he should be patient and helpful. This shows that Chinese and foreign cultures also have a lot in common. One of them is to encourage people to strive for their own goals and ideals. Hercules did it with constant efforts and perseverance, and eventually became an immortal legend, who was praised by later generations.
Hercules is son of Zeus and Princess Alcmene who born with bravery and incredibly strength. With the position and talent, he was supposed to live a life full of happiness and comfort. However, being hated by Hera, he has killed his family and ruined his own life. Owing to the mistakes he have made, Hercules decided to atone for it with his lifetime. Required by the Oracle, he went on the journal to rid Greece of dangerous monsters. He could have ignored all the guilty memories and enjoy the luxury life. However, he chose the path that is filled with difficulties, he chose to take responsibility of what he have done no matter whether he did them out of his own will or not. There is no denying that Hercules is a true hero who not only have the courage to atone but also rescue Greece from monsters. The life path he has chosen may not be the easies one but the one that he wanted out of his own will. And the right path is always hard.
Hercules is the greatest hero in ancient Greek mythology. He was the son of the gods Zeus and Alcmene. He is so brave and strong.Jealous of his talents, Hera, the mother of the gods, assigned him 12 tasks called "impossible".In addition, he saved the life of Prometheus, and disguised himself to join Jason's heroic adventures to help him obtain the Golden Fleece.
Hercules had not only strength, but also a sense of justice and courage.I appreciate the pain and virtue he chose in the face of endless wealth, and if I had been there, I might have chosen the former.Though he went through many hardships, his efforts paid off in the end. After his death, he rose to Mount Olympus and became Hercules. As the saying goes, the sun is always after the rain, as long as you work hard, there will always be a harvest of fruit.
In the film, Hercules met two goddesses at the fork in the road. The beautiful and attractive goddess of Pleasure promised him luxury and comfort beyond imagination, giving him all physical pleasure; The simple and humble goddess of virtue told Hercules that the road to life here was long and difficult, and required unimaginable toil and suffering, but can achieved real happiness with her own efforts and achievements for the benefit of mankind. Hercules chose the latter and made a great achievement. I very agree with Hercules’ choise. In fact, whether in the last nor in our life now, we are always making choises. We should always believe that “There is no free lunch.” In order to achieve our dreams, we should make efforts rather than imagine something unrealistic.
