    Hercules

In Greek mythology, Hercules is the son of Zeus. While in the movie, he is a brave hero who overcomes adversity. In this story, Hercules made the mistake of trusting Eurystheus before and made the mistake of trusting Cotys now. After he helps Cotys win the war, he finds the truth and facing two ways to choose. One is staying and help Thrace to destroy the evil forces, the other is leaving to the black sea with the commission. He decides to stay and fight for Thrace, as he knows that once he leaves he will never get the freedom he wants.

I suppose that Hercules is a typical hero. He is loyal to his king Eurystheus before, while the king suspects him and defame Hercules for killing his wife and children. This makes his story tragic. Moreover, he is merciful. He saved his comrades in different crises. It is because he doesn’t want to let innocent people die that he joined the fight at the risk of his life. Finally, he saved Thrace successfully and found out the truth about the death of his wife and children. By doing this, he overcomes self-doubt and gets his faith back.

Hercules's father, worried that his son would still kill other people by accident, sent him to the countryside to herd cattle. Before going to life, he faced the persuasion of the goddess of evil and virtue. He rejected the temptation of the goddess of evil virtue and chose to follow the advice of the goddess of virtue. He decided to choose the way of virtue. Soon he found a chance to do good thing. In the process of doing good deeds, he encountered suffering and war, but he overcame them and married with the king's daughter and got the gift of gods. I think he is a poor man, persecuted by Hera when he was young. Although he had great power, he was unable to control his power and made mistakes when he was young. However, he was firm-minded, not seduced by the evil goddess, and firmly chose to do good things, and finally gained a lot of recognition.

Hercules, the son of Zeus, faced the dilemma of existential freedom and participating in life actively and positively. He just gave up the luxury and comfort and opt for hardship and suffering that completed 12 heroic achievements, through all kinds of human suffering to benefit the mankind and gain the forgiveness of the gods.

As far as I’m concerned, he is such a vivid character that though he killed his child by mistake for some trick, he still focused on strive instead of regret that chose a hard way to struggle without hesitation. That ‘s  also why he is glorified as a symbol of fearless and selfless spirit in Greek mythology.

Hercules faces the conflict all his life:

    • Due to super power gave by Hera coincidently, he can do almost everything thanks to this lucky gift, for evil, or for other purposes of life.
    • Under the trouble made by Hera, he still didn't fall into the evil world, he constantly compensated for his wrong behavior while he was always suffering a lot.

He is always on the way to take responsibility for what he has done wrongly. Owe to that, he need to complete twelve "impossible tasks", conquer and beat many "tough" enermy. His name is also engraved on every one's mind nowadays as he accomplished those tasks which are generally believed that is impossible absolutely. Instead of being a notorious figure, he chose to be living in an active and positive way whilst he had to bear all the pain and misery of the life. But it seems like that he prefer to live a dignified life rather than get nothing in the end of evil choice.

Hercules faced two opposite paths, one is extremely comfortable and enjoyable, the other is full of tenacity, but he can get real happiness with his own efforts and achievements for the benefit of mankind. Finally, he chooses the latter.

I think he is a tragic character. Under Hera's scheme, his hands are covered with the blood of his family, which brings him great pain. In order to atone for his sins, he has completed 12 impossible tasks in his whole life. One more difficult task requires great strength and endurance. I admire his courage to face the challenge.

But he is also a hero. He helps the whole Greek society to eliminate the evil forces, defeat all kinds of demons and ghosts, and bring a happy life to all mankind with his own efforts.

Hercules is one of the greatest heroes in Ancient Greek Mythology as well as a demigod who is half a god and half a mortal because his father is a god,Zeus and his mother is a mortal. In this film, what we can learn that two extremely distinctive choice or life style are offered to choose, the pleasant and luxury life filled with wealth and sexy beauty and the grueling life through which he can be memorable in the future. Undoubtedly, he chose the latter one without hesitation because of his natural dauntless merit.knowing he will encounter countless conundrums or even die, he is dauntless to every hard task with wisdom and perseverance.

The dilemma he underwent is what we are experiencing, the pleasure and virtue. Based on different standpoint and view of life as well as the family background, everyone will choose different choice. In other words, that is our life, we are the master to control our own destiny no matter what results will intrigue, just enjoy what your choice and the process.

Hercules is said to be the demigod son of Zeus who completes the legendary twelve labors after he is betrayed by Hera. She drives him insane and causes him to murder his wife and his children during the visit to the kind Eurystheus. Then Hercules is frequently haunted by the memory of the deaths of his family by his hand as well as visions by Cerberus. Additionally, he becomes the leader of a band of mercenaries. He could have lived the life full of pleasure and money, but he chooses to face 12 tasks in order to protect the miserable people. Therefore, he wins himself the honor and the respect from people he defends in the end.

In conclusion, he has the spirit of self-sacrifice that he uses his incredible talent to defeat the evil forces with his team. At last, he faces the demons inside his heart and reaches the inner peace. Hercules becomes a mortal again who has joy and sorrow. However, he’s still a hero in my heart. Just as the sentence in the movie goes, "in the moment of the day, be a brave man you’re born to be! "He is the hero born to be for choosing the hardest way to accomplish  the value of his life.

Heracles was a great general of the king of Athens, with a beautiful wife and lovely children. He also faced tough choices between guarding a happy family and participating in wars against enemies. But he finally chose to leave home and join the war. Finally he won the battle, the king rewarded him with endless gold, but he chose to give up gold, against the king. After many hardships, he defeated the king, defeated the army, and was always remembered. hercules is not God, but through his own efforts, he defeated the enemy, revenge for his wife and children, and was finally admired by all people to become demigod. I think he really doesn't care about the glory he gets. In the movie, he fought and overthrew the king because he was filled with the guilt of killing his wife and children, and he wanted revenge for his wife and children.

Hercules is a purely Greek hero who represents human power to tame nature. He was the son of Zeus and Alcmene. Hera hated Hercules. But under Athena's clever arrangement, she nursed him. Hercules, known for his inborn powers as a powerful creature, had killed the poisonous snakes which were sent to murder him by Hera. The goddess of Pleasure promised him luxury and comfort life. The goddess of virtue told Hercules that his life was long and difficult, not only with many difficulties, but also with unimaginable pains and suffering, but he will achieve true happiness through efforts. Hercules chose the latter and accomplished the 12 Heroic Labors. From this short film of Heracles, we can understand the difficulties he encountered after choosing the road of the goddess of virtue from his exaggeration. He could have enjoyed the wealth and physical satisfaction of the world comfortably, but he gave up the opportunity and devoted himself to the fight. His spirit of dedication attracted me deeply.

In order to make up for the plot of Hera in the past, he was stained with the blood of his family. In order to transition from self blame to his own heart, he used this way of fighting all the time to make up for and forgive his mistakes. Among the 12 tasks, he was brave and wise, and won these 12 honors. He also won the appreciation of the gods. He is the greatest hero in Greek mythology, the embodiment of strength, courage and wisdom.

When he chose the road, he didn't choose the comfortable road for the sake of the momentary passion and impulse. Instead, he wanted to interpret himself with practical actions, brave and true. In those 12 tasks, he not only got great honor, but also filled in the vacancy in his heart. He was also satisfied with the spirit that he could not exchange for a comfortable life.

Hercules is strong physically and mentally, brave, stoic and righteous. He punished the evil force, killing the pirate who were arrogant, treated others with contempt, bullied and tortured people, killing the enemy who desire desperately for the conquer, clears the war, slaughtered countless innocents. He represented bright and justice, going through the arduous twelve tasks, taking up the responsibility of training soldiers, fighting against the enemy for the kingdom, encouraging the little boy to be brave. And when he realized the tricks of Lord Coyts, he decided to stay for further fight in order to save the people who served the fatuous lord without knowing the truth features of him, recover the bright and kindness in the country.

What Hercules did made him a hero of the time, a legend and belief. There still was a burning fire in his heart, he realized that there was more meanings above gold that he needed to chase by himself. Heracles

Choice: Heracles faced the choices between a peaceful, stable and secure life and a life full of challenge and unknown. And he chose the latter to fight for the justice and integrity.

I deem that Heracles was a definitely brave and upright hero for choosing to exert himself to rebel the wicked and evil without any hesitation and thinking about his own happy and joyful life in the future. Although he was a wretch for living a painful childhood strapped by Hades, he still upheld and remained his intrinsic kind, justice and dignity at the bottom of his deep heart instead of being undermining his spirit world and even becoming a beast without mind. And he went through many difficulties with growing up day by day, but still insisted his own faith.

We all should be brave and just when we face something as Heracles did and permanently keep a sincere mind and surging passion to live.

When Hercules was young,he met two goddesses. One is the beautiful and attractive goddess of pleasure, who promised Hercules all the joys of life and guaranteed that he wouldn't suffer hardship in his whole life. Another goddess of virtue told Hercules that if Hercules followed the path she pointed out, he would be a benefactor to mankind. However, she can't guarantee Hercules to be prosperous. On the contrary, this road may be very difficult and require unimaginable hard work and pain. After careful consideration, Hercules chose the latter, and finally went through all kinds of tribulations, completed 12 heroic performances, and was accepted by the gods.

Perhaps in some people's eyes, Hercules's choice is stupid——giving up comfortable and simple life, but choosing to travel through the jungle full of thorns. However,is that really true? In fact, the former is not really happiness at all.

Many people choose to live a carefree life when they are young. It seems that they have a good life, but in fact, when they are old, they are often ashamed of their mediocre past. What about the people choosing the latter? Although their life is full of difficulties and frustrations, when the end comes, they will walk into the tomb with all their glory. Their glory will remain in the world forever and be admired by later generations.

There are many happy souls in human history. The reason why they finally get happiness is because of their firm commitment to responsibility. When we are carrying a heavy burden to happiness, it is inevitable that we will face difficulties, but only unshakable people will understand that this kind of responsibility will have pure and beautiful real happiness as a return.

Even the mere mention of his name will boost morale and make people terrified. However, he has his own past that he cannot look back on. Hercules' choice was a long and difficult road to redemption.

Compared with Achilles, Hercules was certainly a hero. Although he killed the evil forces for he was the terminator of his family, the fate of the suffering is not his fault. He chose to face the challenge and bravely walked through the difficulties, reflecting his great courage. We can imagine that his results are also good, that he was forgiven and recognized by thearchy. The happiness that lay before him was not real happiness, and Hercules clearly knew that. Many people have spent their lives in search of happiness, as well as the treasure of life, not knowing that it was when they took up arms against the odds that the treasure was already in their luggage.
