Abstracts of scientific papers are the essence of papers, and short refining is the main feature of abstracts. This is a short article which is intended to provide a synopsis of the contents of the literature, without comments and supplementary explanations, and to record the important contents of the literature concisely and accurately . Compared with the whole scientific and technological paper, the short and concise summary can enable the readers to grasp the relevant information of the paper in the shortest time, so that the readers can determine whether it is necessary to read the full text.

Introduction is an introduction, which is generally the first part of an article in English literature. It introduces the research background, significance, development status and current level of the research field.

    Abstract:

An abstract is a sort of summary of the entire paper. It should be specific about the main findings and not vague. It will also specify what was the aims and goals of the study. so,it has a maximum word limit. It is a summary of the whole research.  Its main purpose is to summarize the research--particularly the objective and the main finding/conclusion,  not to introduce the research area.

    Introduction:

An introduction leads the reader into the subject of study by giving the state of art of knowledge in the area, the lacunae, and reasons for undertaking the present study. It should be short, but does not have a word limit. Main purpose is to introduce the research by presenting its context or background. Introductions usually go from general to specific, introducing the research problem and how it will be investigated.

Abstract is the abbreviation of the paper. It contains the problems of research findings and presents readers with a summary of research findings.

The introduction is the first chapter of the thesis, which introduces the contents of other chapters. At the same time, it also explains the significance and research scope of the topic.

An Abstract is a short form of the final thesis. It contains the crux of the research findings.

An introduction, on the other hand, is the first chapter of a thesis or a dissertation or a book for that matter.

An Introduction provides information about the contents of the book or the content of the other chapters of the thesis. It also gives the significance and the scope of the subject of the thesis.

An Abstract, however, presents the reader with the research findings in a summary, unlike in the case of an introduction which lays the foundation.

The purpose of the abstract is to let the reader first know the content of the paper, so as to decide whether to read the full text. The contents include research objectives, research methods, research results and main conclusions. Brevity is the main characteristic of abstracts in academic journals. Simply summarize the purpose, method, result and conclusion in one or two sentences. The main task of the introduction is to outline the basic content and outline of the whole text. It may include all or some of the following five contents to introduce the background, significance, development status and current level of a certain research field; Review and review literature in related fields, including previous research results, problems solved, and evaluate or compare them as appropriate; By pointing out the unsolved problems and technological gaps left by predecessors, we can also put forward new problems, new methods and new ideas to solve these new problems, thus elicits the motivation and significance of our own research topic. State the purpose of your research; To summarize or outline the main content of a paper.

A summary is a short summary written at the beginning of an academic paper or paper that expounds the purpose of the paper and its main conclusions. The introduction can appear at the beginning of any article, attracting readers to read further and letting them know the rest. The abstract is the essence of the whole text, it is a summary of scientific research work or technical practice, and a summary of the purpose, method and research results of the research.

An abstract will tell the reader of any academic writing what will be argued, investigated or compared in the essay and this is normally placed at the beginning of any writing. An abstract should be a brief exeutive summary of the entire paper, including problem statement, a very brief summary of the methodoloty, and a preview of the findings and conclusions. Often a journal allows only a few hundred words to accomplish this. But the goal of the abstract is to stimulate enough interest to get people to read the entire paper.

As for the conclusion, it will show the results or the answer(s) to the argument, investigation or comparison stated in the abstract. The conclusion to your paper is at the very end, where you restate the value of your research.

Abstract and introduction are two major terms that are widely involved whether you are going with thesis writing or a research paper. Every well written piece of writing always offers prior notice to its readers in introduction or abstract about what they should expect from the paper. It depends on the aim of the work.

However, abstract and introductions are considered the mandatory parts of any scientific research. A brief comparison between the two is described here to make the difference clear in the minds of the readers.

    Abstract

    An Abstract Scoop

Abstract is also called synopsis in a more technical term. It is a short form of the final paper or thesis. The crux of the findings of any research is enclosed in this part. Most often, abstracts are designed to present in conferences and seminars for supervisors and scholars to highlight the short version of the thesis.

The Purpose of Writing an Abstract for Papers or Books

The main purpose behind an abstract writing is just to offer the readers an opportunity to get awareness about the subject matter of the topic. Abstract further involves brief explanations of the findings of the research. Abstract in scientific paper is, especially, written keeping in mind the same idea.

    Introduction

    An Introductory Scoop

On the other hand, introduction involves broader concepts as compared to an abstract. It is the very first chapter of a thesis or a book.

Purpose of Writing an Introduction for Papers or Books

The main purpose of introduction writing is to set up an understanding about the topic of the book or a dissertation. By reading introduction, readers can easily get idea about the contents of the book.

They can further understand the significance of the topic or subject matter of the research. Introduction does not stand in isolation. It is not limited to the aim of the research. Additionally, it involves several other aspects.

There is a clear difference between the two. The purpose of the abstract is to allow readers to quickly grasp the core content of this thesis: including what topics are proposed in this thesis, what problems are solved, what methods are used, and the results. The introduction is usually placed in front of the dissertation to give a preliminary introduction to the research involved in the dissertation, usually one or more short essays. In layman's terms, the introduction of the thesis is the opening of the dissertation. Generally, the introduction of the paper should cover the following points: What is the research background of this paper? What does this thesis explain? What methods are used in the research of this thesis? Is the design method reasonable? What's new? Does it have academic value?
