An introduction leads the reader into the subject of study by giving the state of art of knowledge in the area, the lacunae, and reasons for undertaking the present study. It should be short, but does not have a word limit; Main purpose is to introduce the research by presenting its context or background. Introductions usually go from general to specific, introducing the research problem and how it will be investigated.

An abstract is a sort of summary of the entire paper. It should be specific about the main findings and not vague. It will also specify what was the aims and goals of the study. so, It has a maximum word limit; It is a summary of the whole research; Its main purpose is to summarize the research--particularly the objective and the main finding/conclusion, Not to introduce the research area.

Generally speaking, before the main part, it is mainly for the readers to understand the content of the paper first. It covers the research purpose, research methods, research results and main conclusions.

Introduction is the beginning word of the main body of the thesis. It is the introduction part of the thesis body to point out the content involved in the thesis writing or the problems to be solved with more detailed language.

) Abstract is the epitome of the paper, highly generalizing the various parts of the paper such as purpose, method, result and conclusion, with the emphasis on the result and conclusion. Readers can get the main information of the paper without reading the full text.

    2) The introduction is the necessary explanation of the research, focusing on the reasons for the topic, the basis for setting up the topic, the problems to be solved, etc.

    3) Structurally, the abstract is independent of the article and is a complete essay.

    4) Without the introduction, the structure of the article would be incomplete, and the research would appear sudden and rigid, so it could not be an article with a rigorous and meticulous idea to express the content.

In terms of content, the abstract is the outline of the paper. It highly summarizes the various parts of the paper, such as purpose, method, results and so on. It focuses on the results of research. Readers can get the main information of the paper without reading the full text. However, the introduction is the necessary explanation of the topic focusing on the reasons of the topics and the problems to be solved. In terms of structure, the abstract is a separate part from the text. It is a separate essay. But the introduction is a part of the paper. Without the introduction, the structure of the article appears incomplete.

The purpose of the abstract before the main body is to let the reader first know the content of the paper, so as to decide whether to read the full text. Abstract and introduction are two sections that can be found at the beginning of a document. Although abstract and introduction share some similar features, there are some fundamental differences between the two. Abstracts are generally found in academic work such as research papers, thesis and introduction can be found in many texts. The main difference between abstract and introduction is that an abstract summarizes the whole text whereas an introduction merely introduces the text.An Introduction provides information about the contents of the book or the content of the other chapters of the thesis. It also gives the significance and the scope of the subject of the thesis.

    1. Abstract is a stand-alone text, approximately 200-300 words, that provides a snapshot of our whole thesis. Abstract should be written at the end,it is an overview of our whole report. The structure of this paper is mainly divided into background introduction, research purpose, research methods, research results and research conclusions. There is no need to cite literature to write a summary. Writing a summary is like telling a short story, with a beginning, a middle, and an end.
    2. Introduction is usually longer than abstract.Abstract usually includes topic background, brief review of relevant knowledge, research gaps and research hypotheses. The review of related knowledge can also include literature review.

An abstract serves the purpose of both encouraging the reader and also saving his or her time by letting him know whether reading that particular lengthy piece of writing would be of worth to him or not. A research paper or a scholarly article contains a profusion of technical terms and ideologies that require a lot of attention and time to read and therefore by providing an abstract, the reader can decide whether or not he or she wants to read the entire research.

An introduction aims to excite the reader and pique at his curiosity. It does not provide a summary nor does it let on the conclusion of the article. An introduction usually starts off in an interesting way usually with a captivating quote or a saying. Also, introductions are also much shorter than an abstract. It can be as short as a passage whereas an abstract can go on for pages.

    1. An Abstract is a short form of the final thesis. It contains the crux of the research findings.
    2. An introduction, on the other hand, is the first chapter of a thesis or a dissertation or a book for that matter.
    3. An Introduction provides information about the contents of the book or the content of the other chapters of the thesis. It also gives the significance and the scope of the subject of the thesis.
    4. An Abstract, however, presents the reader with the research findings in a summary, unlike in the case of an introduction that lays the foundation.

The introduction is written in the preface of the article, similar to the preface. It is the first part of the thesis. It is used to introduce the background of the problem, the research results and deficiencies of others, in order to elicit their own research motivation and the significance of this paper.

The abstract is an excerpt and an overview of the entire paper, allowing readers to quickly understand "what problems this paper solves and what the results are." It usually includes background, purpose, method and results. Each item requires only one or two sentences.
