I'm not a standard "good student" because I love playing games and watching other people playing games.
And it's a coincidence I come into contact with the game live. and there are many English livers there. Because it's the live , there is no subtitles and the liver's speaking speed is so fast that I can only try my best to understand what he/she have said.
As time passes, I'm used to listening to English and the spped maybe is not a very big trouble for me.
So I think if you want, you can find abundant ways you like to improve your listening and speaking.

In my opinion,I am a low listening level student .It is difficult for me to listen accurately liasion,and at the most time,I couldn't understand what the news main topic is. These all make me dispirited.
You can choose to watch your favorite British and American movies, compare the Chinese and English bullet screen for the first time, only watch English bullet screen for the second time, and only listen to English without watching bullet screen for the third time. Finally, you can learn to tell some lines you like.
In my opinion,at first, speking English articles or dialogues loudly.Then,catching up with every precious chance to talk with foreigners,and learning from then.What's more,finding some books about how to practice oral English and commmunicating them with your teachers and friends. Last but not least,remebering practice makes perfect.
I think English grammar is the most difficult things for me. But I think listening English music and watching English films are the good way to improve English level.
