When we do business with UAE people, it’s supposed to shake hands with the business partners.

Because UAE people believe in Islam so it’s important to respect the local religion and customs.

We should pay attention that it’s impolite to greet with others’ female relatives and don’t shake hands with women.

UAE is a non-drinking country so we should avoid drinking in the country.

1.Time:Attitude to time in the UAE are much more flexible than many other countries.People and relationships are more important than the schedules and the punctuality ,so it is not uncommon for your Emirati counterparts to arrive late but foreigners are expected to arrive on time.
    2. Title:Status is important and must be recognized by using the correct titles such as chief, engineer ,or professor. If you are unsure of someone’s title find out before hand or ask the person who introduced you .When meeting a group of people it is important that you shake hands and great most senior person first the oldest person in the room usually has the most seniority but you might find there is another person who has stepped in to make the decisions.Always try to find out titles and status of people.
    3. Clothes:Dress conservatively While  the UAE is more westernized than many other Middle Eastern countries and therefore home to many restaurants deals close it is still important to dress modestly.

UAE people usually shake hands when they meet guests in social occasions. When they meet with their relatives and friends, they are also used to kissing. UAE is an Islamic country, and they should respect the local dress etiquette in public. Generally speaking, women should try to avoid wearing back, belly, knee, tight and transparent clothes; men should not wear shorts or bare arms in public

    1. Do dress conservatively. As a sign of respect, men should wear a conservative suit and women should ensure their clothing covers their legs and the tops of their arms. Low cut tops should also be avoided.
    2. Don’t schedule business meetings during prayer times or any of major Islamic holidays such as Ramadan.
    3. Don’t ask about someone’s wife or daughters. Family life which involves females is kept extremely private.
