The first way is about the vocabulary, that's because abundant words give you more choices while writing. For example, when you want to describe something that is very big, except the word "big", you can use "huge", "large", "massive", "enormous" or "grand".
The second is about the structure, which makes your writings more advanced and attractive. For instence, you can use some attributive clauses to make your sentences more compact and clear.

In my opinion, a outstanding article consists of outstanding thoughts and good sentence structure.So, the full understanding to the title and marvelous expression are both needed.For example, when you have a amazing idea, but your words are too poor to make yourself understood,it is a unsuccessful article.So,we must accumulate more sentences and enhance our ability in thinking so that we can make a amazing article.

We can learn different sentence structures and use them in our text. Changing sentence structures when writing makes the article more vivid and flexible. Besides,practice using clauses and linking words, which makes the article more concise and logical. We can also accumulate some advanced vocabularies and good phraces.
