During this week,I have learnt much about TOFEL Reading Section.For example, I find that reading questions can be individed into several kinds like vocabulary problems, reference problems, sentence simplification problems and and so on.I can fing out which kinds I am poor in and do more exercises to improve myself. Skimming and sacnning the whole passage and then finding the keywords is a very useful strategy when I do my reading part. In this way, I can get the main idea quickly.

In one week, I learned the basic reading subjects and some useful strategies. In general, these questions can be divided into four parts: questions relating to factual information or information that contradicts facts, questions relating to interpretation and language purposes, questions of terminology, and questions relating to allegations. In my opinion, the most effective strategy is partial reading, which can help me fully understand the article.

Through Week 2 , I learned about the question type of the reading section as well as the corresponding strategy. Among all the strategies provided by this courses, the skim strategy is one of the most helphul ones to me. I used to reading every word and detail of the article, but I need to read faster in Tofel tests. After learning the skim strategy, I can read the headline and some important sentences of each paragraph, and read the details befor answer questions.

I have learn the last three types of reading questions and tips to answer them. Besides, I have learn about some sources to practice my reading. The most effective strategy for me is to make an outline of a passage while reading. This not only enables me to understand the structure of a passage, but also helps me relocate key words while doing detail questions.

After studying the tofel class, I learned some skills to work out the toful practice and these skills are also do a good job to my English study, such as some vocabulary problems, sentence simplications and so on.

During the TOEFL Reading Section courses, I have learned many valuable things, including the different types of questions and each strategy. With these konwledge, I believe I can learn better. For me, the most useful strategy is skimming, which helps my have a general view of the passage, thefore in the after answering, I can fix a location for the each question in the passage.

After learning the week 2 of TOEFL, I know that there are a lot of types of questions，such as Factual information , Negative Factual Information question, Inference questions, Vocabulary question, Reference questions and so on. During this week's study, I have learnt much useful knowledge about the reading section in TOEFL. I know there are 3-4 passages in this section and each of them has 10 questions. Besides, I also learnt that there are many types of questions, for instance the reference question and inference question. Different kind of question has different way to deal with it. With some professional practice, I believe that my reading skill will improve a lot.
