如何看待科学研究中的成功与失败?

By 李思锐19赖黎群班 2020-03-29 356次浏览

Success and Failure in Scientific Research

In general, people tend to prefer success over failure, which is also the opinion when we do scientific research. But in fact, we often confront various failures, but no one can always succeed, so we cannot just pursue success but ignore failure.

No matter what you do, you will often face failure before you achieve success, which is the same in scientific research. When doing scientific research, in addition to usual efforts and necessary preparations, it is very important to correctly view the relationship between success and failure.British dramatist Bernard Shaw said:Success covers a multitude of blunders. In scientific research, failure is often caused by our improper handling, and this may be what we usually easily overlook. Through a comprehensive analysis of failure, we can find and improve the subjective and objective causes of failure, which can avoid the same failure next time. Summarizing experience in failures over and over again will eventually lead to success in scientific research.

There may be only a wall distance between success and failure, and how to deal with failure is important. Since failure is what we have to face most of the time, we should first understand the importance of failure, realize that success that can be easily achieved must be valueless, so we should dare to face up to failure.Secondly, in scientific research, we must treat failures with a very serious attitude and carefully analyze the causes of failures, and try to solve such problems as much as possible, otherwise no amount of failure may lead to a success. Finally, although failure is the mother of success, we should treat success and failure with a peaceful attitude, rather than deliberately pursuing failure which is meaningless and wrong.
