    The Water Margin depicts multiple characters with distinct personalities and showcases the tragic lives of people at that time through social reality. And it strengthened the resistance against reality at that time, showcasing the identity of individuals with distinct personalities.

    In ancient China, there was a clever boy named Kong Rong. He was very clever. When he was four years old, he could recite many poems. However, he was not famous for his intelce, but for his respect and love for his brothers. Kong Rong has five brothers and one younger brother. One day, his father bought some pears. He selected a big and good pear and gave it to Kong Rong. The boy sok his head, but he chose the smallest one. His father was very surprised and asked why do you take the smallest one.  He replied, because I am a younger brother, the biggest one should be given to my elder brother. The story of Kong Rong sharing pears in Qufu quickly spread througut the land and ped on from generation to generation.
