This is the deadline of our first online course discussion.
Before I went to college, I thought college was going to be easy. After I went to college, I found that college life is also very busy. High school was a busy time, because you knew how many questions you had written today and what papers you had written. When you get to college, you go to bed at night and think about your day as if you didn't accomplish anything, but were busy, inexplicably busy.
When I was in high school, my teachers used to say, "When you go to college, you're free to do whatever you want, sleep, play video games, etc." So my friends and I are looking forward to college life very much. However, in our freshman year, due to the COVID-19 epidemic, we were locked in the school, and many students, including me, had a lot of emotional problems due to being locked in school for a long time. After the end of the epidemic, the school lifted the lockdown, and we were able to freely enter and exit the school gate, go shopping with friends, go shopping, eat delicious food... In fact, in my freshman year, I also encountered many problems, such as self-cognition. I was often confused,I did not know what to do, what kind of person I would become, and what to do after graduation. Gradually, I learned to take action instead of thinking. This solved my self-anxiety and now I find my goal and work towards it.
Before I came to university, I expected that the campus environment is beautiful, life is very free, free time arrangement, in short, everything is arranged by myself, and there are a variety of activities to exercise some of my abilities. But when I came to my university, I had to learn to manage everything on my own, and at the same time, I had to study hard to prepare for the final exams and the various qualification exams.
When I first entered the university campus life, I was immersed in. In the fantasy of eating, drinking, and traveling at will every day. However, reality is far from ideal. My living expenses are simply not enough for me to squander as I thought.I need to allocate funds reasonably to study and life respectively, and entertainment comes last.
In addition, I used to think that entering the university means being able to fall in love freely without being opposed by my parents. It turns out that I am still wrong.Love is not something that can fall from the sky according to the change of your learning environment at all. Learning is the main theme of the university, and love can only add bricks or icing on the cake, and it can never become the mainstream.
Myths:My dream for college is to study hard and enjoy life every day. I should insist on exercising every morning. Besides, I should take up a hobby in my spare time. Therefore, I can balance my study and life and enrich my college life.
Facts:In fact, I can't get up early every day to do exercise.I can't balance my study and life either. I don't plan my time well, I don't plan my life well, I lack motivation and self-discipline.
(1)Diogenes and Alexander know clearly what they love and what they hate, and everything they pursue in a cruel and merciless struggle is the main source of people's struggle and sacrifice. So in a way, they're opposites.
(2)Their spiritual world has much in common, and both are admired. In particular, they have the same spirit of sacrificing themselves for the sake of justice for the people, defending human freedom and equality, and all good things. So in the eyes of the people, they are supreme, truly free.
