1.My Chinese name is Yang Boya. In Chinese, 'Bo'  means broad, extensive, or knowledgeable, often implying a wish for the person to be well-educated and have a wide range of interests. 'Ya' means elegant, graceful, or refined. Therefore, my name 'Boya' generally conveys the meaning of being both knowledgeable and elegant.

2.Based on my research, Chinese people use different terms to address their husbands depending on the social setting and relationship dynamics. For instance, 孩他爸 (Hái tā bà), which literally means "his/her father," is a very common and practical term used by wives in daily family life, especially after having children. In modern daily communication, 老公 (Lǎogōng) is the most widely used intimate term. When introducing a husband to others in formal or polite settings, the term 先生 (Xiānsheng) is preferred. Additionally, more traditional or rural areas might still use terms like 当家的 (Dāngjiā de), while 老头子 (Lǎotóuzi) is an affectionate, colloquial term often used by elderly wives.

3.In 2022, five popular Chinese neologisms included "内卷" (Involution), describing intense and often pointless competition; "躺平" (Lying Flat), referring to rejecting the rat race and doing the bare minimum; "栓Q" (Thank you), a humorous slang for saying thanks while expressing speechlessness; "冤种" (Unlucky person/Sucker), describing someone who suffers misfortunes or gets taken advantage of; and "退退退" (Retreat/Go away), a meme used to express strong rejection. On the English side, five prominent neologisms were "Metaverse" (元宇宙), "NFT" (Non-fungible token, translated as 非同质化代币), "Quiet Quitting" (精神离职, meaning doing only the minimum work required), "Rizz" (short for charisma, translated as 魅力 or 撩人技巧), and "Gaslighting" (translated as 煤气灯效应, meaning psychological manipulation).
