Do you think the art of calligraphy will be passed from generation to generation?

By 魏博 2018-08-15 1341次浏览

Nowadays people even seldom write with pens. Let alone brushes. We usually write on keyboard or smartphones. Some people even use voice recognition softwares.

I think it will be. Chinese calligraphy is "a form of aesthetically pleasing writing, or, the artistic expression of human language in a tangible form". With the imporvement of the materialitic life, more and more Chinese expect to be fullfiled spiritually. Calligraphy is a very flexbible way to contend this want, which won't be limited by time and space. So, it will just become more and more popular.
