English Answer (About 100 words, Senior High Level)

Shakespeare’s Sonnet 18 and Sonnet 130 share many similar themes.

In views of beauty, both poems go against old poetic rules. Sonnet 18 says the lover’s beauty is far more lasting than summer scenery. Sonnet 130 refuses false perfect descriptions, and praises true natural beauty.

For love, they both value sincere feelings instead of shallow appearance. What’s more, the two works break old writing habits. They use poems to keep love and beauty alive forever, showing poet’s true love deeply
