I'd like to introduce Edward T. Hall's High-Context and Low-Context Culture model. Basically, it's about how people communicate differently. High-context cultures, like China or Japan, value implicit messages. We rely a lot on body language, relationships, and the situation. You don't need to say everything directly, because the context says it all. On the other hand, Low-context cultures, such as the USA or Germany, prefer explicit communication. Meaning comes primarily from the words themselves, not from the situation. This simple theory helps explain why cross-cultural misunderstandings happen. It's very useful for business and daily life.
