  Columbia University is a famous university.So many Chinese students are eager to be admitted into this.It gives me a opportunity to appreciate the wonderful scenery of America,and I learn more about the university's history,which broaden my horizons.Let me see a world that I never saw.What's more,It improves my curiosity about the new world and makes me want to feel the different culture in person.In addition to,I also image if I'm a Columbia University's student,what kind of life I will have.It seems like I obtain a chance to communicate with a new friend who comes from diffrent country.

  I once thought university was the place that gave us entire freedom to learn what we were interested in so as to chase our dreams. But my experience taught me that there was no such things like entire freedom, Even though I am at university, I still need to have some courses which I think are unnecessary, And I found that the means of university is that we should learn something specially. Many students don't know what they should do at university, So they just follow the others blindly, But being independent Is one of the meanings of university life. Maybe our teachers will give us some suggestions. And classmates may set us some examples. However, we are the one who know best about what we really want. As for me, I don't want to be a high school student at university anymore. To make my dream come true, it will never be enough if we just want to be a good follower, We have to learn to be the leader of our dreams step by step. And that's all the meanings of our university life.

  For me, college life means freedom, independence and self-discipline. Going to college means taking care of yourself, learning to think for yourself, and learning to grow up slowly. College is an important stage for us to get involved in our college life and communicate with others. It is also a golden time for us to experience ourselves.
